The proprietors have run and managed Long Furrows Care Group since 1991. Currently there are three residential homes that comprise the Care Group of which Long Furrows is one and the first to be opened by Mr. and Mrs. Volf. Prior to becoming a Proprietor of Long Furrows Care Group Mrs. Volf had seven years experience of working in and managing a residential care home.

Nicole Boyd – PA to Chairman

Nikki has extensive Office Management experience. She has previously worked in HR, personnel, finance and PA roles. She joined Long Furrows in November 2002. She previously spent 15 years as an administrator in the Army and prior to joining the team she worked as an Office Manager/PA for a small engineering company in Colchester.

Tina Heron - Care Home Manager - Enrolled Nurse for people with Learning Disability (ENLD).City and Guilds 325.2 (Management in Care).

Tina is an Enrolled Nurse for people with Learning Disabilities (ENLD). She has been working with people who have learning disabilities in a professional capacity since 1984. She has worked within a wide range of health, community and social care settings, initially working with children and then moving on to work with adults who challenged service provision. In addition to being a qualified nurse, Tina also holds City & Guilds 325.2 Management in Care.
